Beef

Beef is one of the original boys from Sigourney, Iowa, but now lives in Illinois.  On RAGBRAI, Beef has the uncanny ability to ride in the back of a draft line until the last quarter mile before we enter a town, at which point he somehow finds a reserve of energy to pull the draft line for the last quarter mile.  To the casual observer, some might think he pulls drafts lines all day long.  

Beef is a well known inventor.  For RAGBRAI 2002 he applied his genius towards the invention of the portable and lightweight "Doghouse Boombox on Wheels".  Thanks Beef for lending your incredible talents to enhance our biking pleasure.  Thomas Edison has nothing on you.   Beef's hobbies include drinking large quantities of beer and visiting hospital emergency rooms, (usually in that order). 

Unfortunately Beef still hasn't learned to keep his mouth closed while riding his bike.
