& Kris
Barney and Kris met on RAGBRAI,
and became engaged on RAGBRAI a few years later. They were even married the night before they left
for RAGBRAI so all the Stiffies could attend, and then spent the first
three days for their honeymoon on RAGBRAI. We all expected Kris to
conceive on RAGBRAI, and then give birth on RAGBRAI the following year. We
were all proved wrong when Kris and Barney had baby girl Gaby in the spring of
2006.
Barney is the defacto team
leader, and runs the team the same way he has sex; with an iron fist. On a few occasions other team members have tried to overthrow
Barney, but he seems to be harder to depose than Saddam Hussein and Fidel Castro
combined.
The resemblance is
uncanny.
